Day 4 – Pitch, hiking (and skiing)

After a lecture on game mechanics we firstly presented two of our game-ideas to a representative of Vorarlberger Illwerke AG.

Some presentations even were surprisingly funny.

In the afternoon we climbed Dornbirns local mountain – the Karren – and on top enjoyed the view.

Skiing on Bödele was fun! Most of the Irish Students started from scratch. In other words this was their first time on skies or snow-boards. They did very well and were very well committed. Four already managed to go with the lift and master the hill in one piece after one hour. What a big achievement! Congratulations!

See yourself:

Please feel free to submit images of the skiing trip if you took some!

Day 3 – Lecture, lecture, lecture …

After an input to several programming languages we met for the Scrum Meetings. In the afternoon we got an input on the topic of Human Computer Interfaces and Usability.

We ended the evening by playing several games.

Day 2 – Trip to Illwerke

In the morning we had a lecture about Scrum Meetings, afterwards we met in our groups to have our first own meeting.

At 11.20 we met for lunch and left Dornbirn at 11.50, heading towards Illwerke. There we had an excursion into the mountain, to the heart of the powerplant. After the trip we listened to an interesting lecture about the history, architecture and functionality of the modern powerplant.

Close to the Illwerk powerplant we then had our dinner.
